What We Are Looking for in a Southwestern Coaching Professional Sales and Leadership Coach:
Our coaches are top-producing sales professionals first and coaches second. What makes SWC’s coaching program different from any other coaching program in the world is that to be a coach at SWC, first and foremost, you have to be a practitioner in the art of sales. For more than 165 years, Southwestern has trained, motivated, and coached salespeople and leaders to reach their goals in life.
Not an Ordinary Job:
This is not an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. kind of career. This is a do-whatever-it-takes kind of career in which you have a passion for building your business with and within SWC. We want people who take the bull by the horns and will work hard to get the job done right. We will give you proven scripts, time-tested systems, and the schedule to run with- you have to execute. SWC partners with entrepreneurs and is building a company that allows people to create their own schedule and their own unique income streams through their passion of helping others through coaching. Individually all SWC coaches have been successful at starting and running companies. However, we realize that a small group of likeminded people with a common, focused goal can make a much larger impact on the world versus trying to do it on our own.
Skills/Requirements:
· 8+ years of verifiable sales excellence· Strong presentation skills
· Strong one-on-one communication skills in order to deliver customized and individual coaching advice
· Ability to self-generate leads as well as build local relationships with our SWC national account companies
· Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis while also communicating with your partner coaches in different markets on a weekly, if not daily, basis by phone, email, or through our Client Relationship Management (CRM)
· Organized and detail-oriented individual who values open and constant communication with their teammates
· Sets a goal and then takes action to conquer it
· Believes in having fun while working
· Is always learning and growing
· Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves
· Is a naturally gifted communicator
· Works hard but also finds joy while getting things done
Must Understand:
· New technology and how to use it in your business, including but not limited to social media, business tools, and mobile apps
· PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
· Advanced skills with LinkedIn and how to teach others to use this platform in their business
· Learn and implement all necessary skills for our CRM software (Infusionsoft/SalesForce)
